About our Location
The location of Amstelhof after-school care is special, because we are located in the large Sport & Health Club Amstelhof. That is why we have all kinds of sports indoors, which the children can participate in for a fee. The rooms are also large and the children have plenty of square meters to enjoy themselves after school, both indoors and outdoors!
Children from almost all schools in the Kwakel and Uithoorn can come to BSO Amstelhof. We are open after school, and also on most study days and during the holidays.
As a team, we believe it is important that children experience childcare as very enjoyable. That they do not see it as a shelter, but rather as a fun place where they can do all kinds of group activities with friends. Something they don’t experience at home. And we make good use of this during the activities. We offer both sports and creative things. And the children can also simply be bored or quietly read a book, because relaxing is just as important.
Lots of sports!
Amstelhof is a creative and flexible, but above all sporty after-school care center We offer many different sports, such as football, volleyball, table tennis, tennis and swimming. There are also judo and karate lessons and children can participate in jazz ballet, street dance and children’s pilates. In addition, there is more than enough room for creativity.
Our team
Team Amstelhof consists of a group of pedagogical employees, each of whom has completed a different course. We also have a few male pedagogical employees in our team. Men like to let children discover things through play. What for many women is ‘breaking something’, for men means ‘taking something apart’. The principle of trying things out and gaining experience usually suits them better. Men’s interactions with children are often described as more ‘fraughty’, but men can be more direct in communication. That is only enriching for children, and we are happy with that balance in our team.

However, we can only schedule a date for this once we have actual space available at our location. This way we avoid disappointment. Currently, we have waitlists for (almost) all of our locations and there are no openings available. Therefore, we recommend registering your child first so that you can be added to the waitlist.
