Child Center Haas is a small-scale location on the edge of Legmeer, with the event area at the front. Our child center has grown into a beautiful fully-fledged location with a daycare center, toddler care and after-school care (BSO). We care for children aged 0-12 years. The small scale makes it personal and warm. Parents and children see familiar faces because it is so small-scale and this gives a familiar feeling. Families stay with us for many years. The children start at daycare or toddler care and move on to after-school care. This means that we really build a bond with both the children and the parents. And when children do make the big step to primary school, it gives parents and children a safe feeling, because they go to their familiar childcare center after school.
Diversity in employees
The employees are diverse in age and in their qualities. The great thing about this is that we use each other’s qualities and thus create a pleasant working environment for everyone. And that benefits the children. For example, one employee loves to enthusiastically play football outside with the children and participate with them, while someone else is good at coming up with creative things. In this way they both get the children excited with something different to participate in.
Themes for Haas and Home
At Haas, in toddler care and daycare, we always work on a theme for 6 weeks, for example ‘traffic’ or ‘me and my family’. The topics are recognizable to the children, because they also encounter them or may have to deal with them in everyday life. It is fun and easy for parents to connect with our themes at home and discuss them with their child. We also offer Preschool Education (VE).

At the BSO we also work with themes during the holidays. We do not do this outside the holidays, but we always offer creative activities and sports and games. The children can then choose what they want to do.
Play outside whenever possible
Furthermore, our motto is: if the weather permits: enjoy the outdoors! Playing outside is great for all ages and it is healthy: get a portion of vitamin D, lose energy, exercise, you name it.

Would you like to step inside, meet our employees, and get a feel for the atmosphere? You can! We would be happy to give you a tour of our location.
However, we can only schedule a date for this once we have actual space available at our location. This way we avoid disappointment. Currently, we have waitlists for (almost) all of our locations and there are no openings available. Therefore, we recommend registering your child first so that you can be added to the waitlist.
