Childcare is the perfect place for a taste adventure!
Enrollment
You can register for the warm meal via our website.
This is only possible if your child already has a placement (or will soon start) at Solidoe, at one of the following locations: KDV Legmeer, KDV Triade, KDV Haas, KDV De Scheg, or KDV De Berenboot.
The warm meals will then be scheduled by our Planning & Placement department. You will receive a confirmation as soon as possible (in your parent app/portal), including the scheduled days and the confirmed start date.
(Please note: an additional fee applies for warm meals.)
Cancelling?
Warm meals will continue to be provided and invoiced until cancellation is submitted in writing via email to planning@solidoe.nl, including your child’s name. A one-month notice period applies.
Healthy meals
In addition to the usual sandwich lunch, some of our locations offer the option for your child to enjoy a hot meal at lunchtime. This can be arranged for every day your child attends childcare, or just once a week — the choice is entirely yours. Hot meals are available for children aged one and over. If your child has allergies or specific dietary requirements, please contact us in advance to discuss the options. You can also let us know if your child follows a vegetarian diet.
Solidoe partners with Spoony to provide these meals. Spoony prepares healthy, hot meals specially designed for childcare settings. In collaboration with a paediatric dietitian, they create balanced weekly menus that meet the guidelines of the Dutch Nutrition Centre. Every meal contains at least one portion of vegetables.
Costs & Conditions 2025
The cost of a warm meal is €3.05 per meal and will be invoiced as a fixed monthly amount. Invoicing is based on 48 weeks per year, resulting in a monthly amount of €12.20 per weekday. This means it is not possible to temporarily pause the warm meals (e.g. due to holidays). The 48-week invoicing already accounts for possible absences such as holidays.
A warm meal can only be provided on your child’s contracted day(s). If your child attends on an additional day, a warm meal cannot be provided.
In case of holidays/absence, please report the cancellation of your child’s warm meal through the parent app.
Warm meals are not covered under the Dutch Childcare Act – you cannot claim Childcare Allowance (Kinderopvangtoeslag) for them.
