Opening days 2025
As a parent, you would like us to take care of your child(ren) if you need it. Solidoe takes this into account: we are open 52 weeks a year, including between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. There is only 1 day that is not an official holiday on which we are closed, and that is the Friday after Ascension Day (in 2025 this is Friday May 30th). On the other hand, we are open on Good Friday, an official holiday. We are also open until 4 p.m. on the day before Christmas (December 24th) and on New Year’s Day (December 31st).
Daycare
The daycare locations offer care during all 52 weeks of the year, with the exception of official holidays and the day after Ascension Day. On the other hand, we are open on Good Friday, an official holiday.
Preschool childcare
The toddler care locations offer care during all school weeks. The toddler care is closed during the school holidays, during officially recognized holidays and the day after Ascension Day. The Toddler Care Center is also closed on Good Friday (Friday, April 18th 2025).
After-school care
The BSO’s 52-week contract offers care during all school weeks, on study days and during all school holidays .
The 40-week contract BSO offers care during all school weeks .
The 12 week contract BSO offers full-day care during all school holidays..
All BSO locations are closed on officially recognized public holidays and the day after Ascension Day.
NB: Solidoe’s after-school care centers are always open all day when school is closed: during holidays or study days.*
You can bring your child to Solidoe if these days are included in your after-school care center contract. The BSOs are also open during extra lesson-free weeks at the schools.*

Request tour
Would you like to step inside, meet our employees, and get a feel for the atmosphere? You can! We would be happy to give you a tour of our location.
However, we can only schedule a date for this once we have actual space available at our location. This way we avoid disappointment. Currently, we have waitlists for (almost) all of our locations and there are no openings available. Therefore, we recommend registering your child first so that you can be added to the waitlist.
