Registration and placement
I am looking for childcare; is there a place available for my child?
This depends on the desired location, your child’s age, and the requested days.
From what age can I register my child?
For the daycare (KDV), you can register from the moment you are pregnant; for toddler care (PO) and after-school care (BSO), you can register once your child is born.
Do you have a waiting list?
At a number of locations, we have immediate availability on many days, while other locations have a waiting list. The options are always dependent on your child’s age and the desired day(s). Our planning & placement department will be happy to assist you (planning@solidoe.nl).
Is it possible to get a tour before I register?
Yes, it’s possible to take a tour at one of our locations. You can contact the location directly or request a tour through the location page on our website.
Do I have to pay a registration fee?
No, at Solidoe, registration is always free of charge and without any obligation.
How can I register my child?
You can register via our website → click the “Enrol” button.
Will I always receive a confirmation after my registration?
Yes, you will always receive a confirmation by email once we have processed your registration.
How do I know if my child can be placed?
As soon as we see placement possibilities for your child, we will contact you by phone or in writing (by email).
I am already known to you! How do I register a second child?
This can be done by phone or via our website → click the “Enrol” button.
There is no availability at my preferred location or on my preferred days, what now?
When registering, you can always indicate a second preferred location and also specify optional days. We take this into account when considering placement possibilities.
How can I cancel my registration?
You can let us know by sending an email to planning@solidoe.nl
When is the introduction meeting at the location?
In general, the introduction meeting is scheduled within a month before the start date. You will automatically be invited by the pedagogical professionals at the location.
My child is attending daycare. Does this mean they are automatically registered for after-school care (BSO)?
No, you need to register separately for this
Invoices and payments
How do I pay the childcare invoices?
When signing the contract, you authorize a direct debit. Solidoe invoices in advance, and the invoices are always collected around the 25th of each month.
I have a question about my invoice, how can I reach you?
For content-related questions, you can contact the Planning department (+31 297 729710). For payment-related questions, you can contact the Finance department (+31 297 729720).
Where can I find my invoice and annual statement?
These documents are published in the Solidoe parent portal (and are visible to the contract holder).
When will I receive the annual statement?
Solidoe’s annual statement is published in your parent portal every year in February at the latest.
Where can I find the LRK number for applying for childcare allowance?
You can find the LRK number in your contract under the “placement details”.
Do I have to continue paying for childcare during holidays?
Yes, your invoice will remain unchanged if your child is absent due to holidays.
Do I have to continue paying for childcare if my child is ill?
Yes, your invoice will remain unchanged if your child is absent due to illness.
Changes and termination
How can I request an extension or change to my child’s childcare arrangements?
You can notify us of any extension requests and/or changes by telephone (0297-729710) or by email (planning@solidoe.nl).
How can I terminate the contract?
Termination must always be notified in writing. This can be done by sending an email to planning@solidoe.nl , stating your child’s name.
Do I have a notice period?
Yes, the notice period at Solidoe is one month from the date you notify us in writing.
I’ve become unemployed. How can I cancel childcare?
If you’ve become unemployed, you are still entitled to childcare allowance for a number of months. You can find more information about this at www.toeslagen.nl . You can terminate the childcare by sending a termination email to planning@solidoe.nl . You have a one-month notice period.
Rates
What is included in the rate?
At the KDV and PO, food and nappies are included, at the BSO food and, if necessary, transport to the BSO location are included.
How much will childcare cost me?

How can I apply for childcare allowance?
You can apply for childcare allowance via the website www.toeslagen.nl or in the Tax and Customs Administration’s AllowancesApp.
Exchanges and extra days
The daycare center is closed due to a public holiday. Is it possible to swap days?
You will receive credit for public holidays that fall on your contract day. You can use this credit to request an extra day. You can read more about public holiday credit here.
We’re going on vacation. Can we exchange these days?
No, this is not possible at Solidoe.
My child is sick. Can I swap the daycare day?
No, this is not possible at Solidoe.
Are school study days included in the after-school care program?
All study days are included in the 52-week and 40-week contracts, but not in the 12-week contract.
I need an extra day of childcare. How do I request this?
You can request extra days in the parental portal Konnect. If you have public holiday credit, you can use this; otherwise, you will receive an invoice for this extra day. You can read more about public holiday credit here.
Practical matters
Do you comply with legal requirements?
All Solidoe locations are inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). You can find these reports for each location on our website. Solidoe is also HKZ certified. This HKZ quality mark proves and guarantees the quality of the childcare provided. The quality mark institute carries out annual inspections.
Is there an settling-in period before my child starts daycare?
At the daycare center, we have two short settling-in periods before the start date and a long settling-in day that coincides with the first day of the contract. At the preschool and after-school care, there is an extensive introduction meeting.
How are the children picked up from school to go to the after-school care center?
Our pedagogical staff are always at the school; sometimes they walk to the location, sometimes they cycle or take the Solidoe bus.
On which days is your childcare center closed?
Solidoe is closed on all national holidays and the day after Ascension Day. All toddler care locations are also closed on Good Friday.
I have a complaint or suggestion for improvement. Where can I go?
You can always submit your complaint or suggestion for improvement to the branch manager of your child’s location. You can also fill out our response form on this page.
What are the drop-off and pick-up times?
Opening hours may vary depending on the location and type of childcare (daycare, Toddlercare, and after-school care). Daycare opening hours are 7:00 or 7:30 a.m., depending on the location. Daycare and after-school care close at 6:30 p.m. The opening hours of the Toddlercare/VE are from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., depending on the location.
Parent portal
How can I log in to the Parent App?
Your login details for the Parent App are the same as for the Parent Portal. When you use it for the first time, you will be asked to enter a domain name, which is: solidoe.ouderportaal.nl
I have forgotten my password. How can I create a new one?
You can easily request a new password on the login page of the Konnect Parent Portal by clicking on ‘Forgot password’.
What is the function of the parent portal?
Solidoe works with the Konnect parent portal. For you, as a Solidoe customer, this means that you can view all information relating to childcare online. Within the portal, you will receive photos and messages from the group and you can deregister your child or request additional childcare. It is also possible to view invoices, annual statements, and documents, and to manage your personal details.

How will I be informed about my child’s progress?
Some of this information is shared during the daily exchange when dropping off and picking up the child. In addition, it is important that parents and educational professionals regularly have a more detailed conversation about how their child is doing. Around each child’s birthday, parents are asked to attend a meeting to discuss their child’s observations (daycare) or to evaluate the child’s well-being form (after-school care).
A meeting can take place if necessary, but is also important when everything is going well. Parents can request a meeting with educational professionals at any time. The educational professional can always request a meeting with the parent(s) if there areany concerns about the child.

At our childcare centres De Legmeer, Baloe, Sam Sam, and De Dolfijn and PO De Quakel, places are available for children on most days.
