About Buiten Gewoon
The name actually says it all: Buiten Gewoon is an extraordinary after-school care center in a special place on the edge of Kudelstaart. We have a vegetable garden and chickens, and the outdoor play area is not full of swings and play equipment, but it is of course furnished. The children can discover everything here! We can also use the sports field at VZOD, another Solidoe location across the street.
Activities
Together with the team, we ensure that our children have the feeling of coming home. That they are in a nice place where they can play with their friends and further develop in and with their talents. We offer the children space for their own ideas and we help where necessary, but above all we let them have fun and discover new things.
Buiten Gewoon has its own vegetable garden, where the children grow their own fruit and vegetables together with educational staff. The harvest can be used to make all kinds of tasty treats in the children’s kitchen. Furthermore, the children can live out their imagination and show their talents on stage. And in the studio you can tinker and DIY to your heart’s content.
Practical
Children come to Buiten Gewoon as soon as they reach the age of 7. They usually flow from the Solidoe location the Rietpluim. When they are 9 years old, they go to Solidoe’s other BSO: VZOD. The children come to Buiten Vrijdag by bike or we pick them up in one of our own vans.
