Small scale
De Ruimte is a small-scale location for after-school care (BSO) in the De Ruimte primary school in Kudelstaart. All children aged 4-12 years sit together. That is special, because no other after-school care location in Kudelstaart has this. Because of the age differences, younger children can learn a lot from older ones. Siblings can also stay together happily. And the children stay with their permanent pedagogical staff member for a longer period of time, which gives confidence.
De Ruimte literally has the space: we have a large group room, a play and sports area and 2 large outdoor squares. And that in the middle of the neighborhood!
Coming home to after-school care
Together with the team, we ensure that children feel a sense of coming home. From school they walk straight to the after-school care centre, where they meet their friends from their own class again. De Ruimte is a nice place where they can play with their friends and develop at their own pace and in their own way. In De Ruimte we offer children the space for their own ideas. If they need help, we help, but above all we let them have fun and discover new things for themselves.
We are still busy with the school to see what else we can do together, everything to ensure that every child can develop optimally.
De Ruimte is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also offer lunchtime supervision (TSO) at the school on those days. Children who want to use childcare on Wednesdays and Fridays can go to De Rietpluim (for children aged 4-6 years) and to Buiten Vrijdag (for children aged 7-13 years).

Would you like to step inside, meet our employees, and get a feel for the atmosphere? You can! We would be happy to give you a tour of our location.
However, we can only schedule a date for this once we have actual space available at our location. This way we avoid disappointment. Currently, we have waitlists for (almost) all of our locations and there are no openings available. Therefore, we recommend registering your child first so that you can be added to the waitlist.
